Roman Abramovich is the proud owner of 560 foot super yacht Eclipse world's Largest Yacht. This yacht was constructed by Blohm + Voss in Hamburg, Germany at cost of $1.2 billion and launched on June 12th, 2009. It features multiple hot tubs, two pools–one of which converts to a sodden dance floor when drained. Abramovich and his guests will be protected by security systems that use laser bursts to thwart paparazzi digital photography when activated, anti wiretapping, anti intruder systems and missile detection systems. It was briefly owned by a Miles businessman who sold it to Roman Abramovich the following year. Abramovich had it refitted to his own requirements by Blohm & Voss. This included the addition of a second helicopter pad forward, four new zero-speed stabilisers and modifications to the exhaust, mast and stern. A full time crew of up to 46 people lives aboard all year long and a large security contingent comes and leaves with the family.
